They were def throwing it around some on us out there, but we covered better as the age went on. Bent but didn't break, on a lot of those drives, and got some help from their kicker. Takeaways were the difference, imo. The rookie Benkiwere looked ok out there at times, and Melvin White had a pretty good game, too.
Pretty mediocre game running the ball, but the play-calling was ok, and we took what was there with the passing game. 2 nice drives in the 2nd half for TD's. Benjamin dropped some balls out there - I wonder if he's having a little trouble adjusting to the Cam's velocity. Some bad sacks, but we recovered. Good win. Cain't argue with 24-7
Definitely can't argue with a 24-7 win and holding the Lions to 7 (although they did move the ball)
Especially cool being 2 and 0 with a division road win and the already anointed Saints are 0 and 2
Much better game overall than last week. Lions could move the ball but could not score. I'd give my game ball to Gano, how many times does the kicker get the ball back for you?
Cam was a little shaky to start but got it together and really moved the ball around. Hope Tolbert and Fozzy are not too banged up.
The best part is we are 2-0 and have not started playing our best ball yet.
