And that my friends is why it is not always the coach. Same could be send on the other side of the ball. There were free receivers running around and no attempt to pass to them. Smith looked like it was trying to get rid of the ball too quickly and not reading the entire field. Gruden said he is smart but he looks anxious.

Except when these breakdowns happen with regularity. Then coaching should come into question. Maybe it is benching these rogue players (such as Norman's benching in the 2nd half briefly). Maybe its communication. No matter, its the coaches job to ensure they know and are committed to their responsibilities or get someone in there that does.
