Love isn’t better than Goff right now - he could be better than Goff in the future though. Goff has been really strong the last 2 seasons and is a top 5 NFC QB for sure.

What did Goff do in your mind to be better than Love?

When you look at the full season Love is better except a few less yards.

When comparing the 2nd half of the season when Love started to get hi timing down with the 1st and 2nd year receivers Loves states kicks Goffs ass

Love was 2nd in the NFL in TDs with 1st or 2nd year receivers on the youngest team in the NFL

Goff keeps improving. Still finding his ceiling.

He was behind Love last year with Love having a slow first half of the season. Do you think with all the improvents Goff will be having that he would out perform Love in Loves 2nd year starting?

Love and Tagovailoa are going to average around $46M for the next 3 to 5 seasons. Lawrence is going to average around $41M over the next 5 seasons. Effectively he has a 4 year guarantee whilst Love and Tagovailoa have 3 year guarantees.

You probably shouldn't mention how NFL contracts actually pay out and work. Most people prefer to whine about how stupid teams are they would be a better GM.

Yes, Goff is a more talented QB, a smarter QB, a more experienced QB and runs a better offense.

So you're thinking the Rams should go back to Goff over Stafford?

No, I'm thinking you should be smarter for me to continue this conversation with you.

This is pretty funny coming from a poster with a 2 digit IQ.

It is interesting how some players get lambasted in the media and others get a complete free pass.

Jordan Love has now refused to report to training camp TWO YEARS IN A ROW without a re-worked contract.

For some players that would make them an absolute villain in the public eye. With Love it was hardly even mentioned.

You should probably get your facts straight before you post.

Because of the position value and the lack of people that can play it at a high level teams have very little leverage when it comes to QB pay. It's an overpay for Love but the Packers and a few other teams really don't have much of a choice but to pay it. At least in the Packers' case while you do have concerns about the floor you do have some hopes for the ceiling unlike the Lions with Goff and the Dolphins with Tua you pretty much know those ceilings aren't rising.

My concern if I was a Packers fan about Love is just how clutch he actually is. As much praise as he got after the 9ers playoff game I personally didn't completely understand it because I thought he choked in the 2nd half. Maybe he didn't choke with both hands around his throat but I thought he did very little in the 2nd half.

Packers got 2 TDs on first 2 possessions in 2nd half.

Zach Tom at right tackle was ruled out with concussion in the 3rd quarter after the TDs... Nijman came in to replace him and Bosa destroyed him... Packers offense and Love's protection was not very good afterwards. Love got some happy feet and was not the same.

Happy Packers drafted OT in the first round... hopefully he is good one and provides some more depth again at tackle.

Lol.....GB fans thinking they didnt over pay for a qb that has not proven anything but won a playoff game vs a team that self implodes every year they make the playoffs.......
So you GB fans think Love deserved a record breaking contract.....??

Pay raise,of course,he earned something more,wont lie about that......but a record setting contracct......??......hell no.

Please lighten up on this record breaking contract as Burrows and T Lawrence get just as much with the $55 mil. The only record he broke was the signing bonus. Other QBs have QBs at the same $55 mil
