Just searched Willie Taggart’s name. There was 4 threads regarding him leaving Oregon, 2 of them started by Husky fans. A total of 9 Husky fans came in and poured it on. To my fellow Duck fans take the high road like we did with Coach Pete leaving. Their athletic department is a wreck, give them time to be relevant again so we can have robust banter again. Good luck Huskies.

You've still got a fairly talented roster. With the right guy and a few quality portal hits, UW can be back pretty quick. It was the right move. 10 mil in dead money isn't the end of the world.

I'm just not sure who's a west coast/mountain type guy that's out there and available right now.

The two most successful Oregon coaches of the past decade have shown that you don't have to be a "West Coast" guy to be successful.

They can't stay inside the program for a hire so we'll see with all these rumors floating around what happens. Seems like some good candidates out there.

But we as a conference need Oregon State to beat them so we can go whip that Utah ass in the CCG.

I'm kinda checked out. I hope we beat AZ like a drum, but we aren't firing Herm with so many teams looking for coaches and we're basically taking a complete pass on our recruiting class at this point.

I don't think we're going to get into a ton of trouble, but the cloud hanging over the head of ASU is just so discouraging. I think we have 5 recruits, and 1's a kicker. 2 are competitive recruits. I think we had 5 4-stars in April and were top 10 at one point. We've probably got 5 or 6 guys that'll get drafted this year- and we still sorta suck.

Maybe if the defensive line comes back for one more run, we'll be okay. I'd love to see a healthy season of Lole, Johnson and Davidson. We've never really had that. Running out of patience with Daniels. He's just scared to throw the ball into tight spaces.
