As for Slovis I see he throws a very good catchable deep ball. JTs arms strength isn't there for throwing deep. Remains to be seen if Slovis can do well in the 2-3 step drop passing game that Harrell wants. Slovis didn't come from Mater dei where you're protected by huge O linemen so he will create more when pressured then JT would have.

I believe the rule was for at least 1 game in Southern California every other year. Thus you have OSU, UW, WSU, and UO on the two year rotation with UCLA and USC.

thats why i dont understand why the PNW schools arent trying to get to SDSU on some years

I mean ive seen Oregon play at Wyoming and Boise. I went to a game at Fresno. they are going to Hawaii in the future. I dont see why in a year when they have only a game at 1 Cali school they woulndt want to go to SDSU.

I like this much better than Dennis Dodd’s chicken little theory from a couple years ago. He had the whole conference crumbling and Utah, Colorado, Zona and ASU going to the big12.
UW, Oregon, Cal and UCLA going to the B1G
SC and Stanford taking the Notre Dame route of Independent.
And WSU and OSU going to the Mtn West.

It’s not that bad is it?

Unfortunately it’s not too far fetched if the conference keeps going the way it is with so many athletic departments hemorrhaging money. 2 things have really hurt the conference and 1 is the schools were told they were going to get X so essentially used a credit card but they haven’t received X combined. Then 2 is Larry Scott, the Pac 12 office and most of the school president/chancellors value Olympic sports way too much. It’s nice that it’s the conference of champions 99% of those champions actually lose money for the school.
