Exactly and the Crowder comparison is more for DEFENSIVE reasons. Tucker is a better defender imo
He gave me a facepalm because he can't see past a half season outlier. Crowder has never been been great shooter. His value comes from everything else he does.

So we based everything on the playoffs now? Regular season with a much larger sample size means nothing now? Got it lol

Knowing how Miami give their guys the green light to shoot, he should be at 3-4 attempts per game assuming he starts
His minutes were inflated during the playoffs because of DiVincenzo injury. The 32.2 percent in this case is much closer to the realistic expectation.

So you think the entire Bucks team are terrible shooters I'm guessing since they all shot poorly in the playoffs?

Bucks shot 39% from 3 in the regular season 32% from 3 in the playoffs

Those numbers don't agree with his preconceived notions so they don't count because of reasons

He doesn't have much lift on his three-point shot anymore. If Miami is expecting him to be their heir apparent to Jae Crowder, they are going to be sorely disappointed.

Two or three years ago, sure. Now? No.

You're the only one trying to claim the Heat are looking for him to be some kind of difference maker.

He's a savvy veteran role player who doesn't shrink when the lights get bright.

as @wildturkey said the Heat are going to look for him use his experience to make a difference in a few possessions here and there and maybe a swing a couple more games their way. They aren't looking to him to win a title for them.

PJ Tucker is a role player, and a good one at that.

7 million is a bargain.

Yes, he is surely past his prime, but he has a game based on power and strength that ages well and I expect he will be a quality cog in the Heat rotation next year.

We all know Giannis shoots like he's heaving a bowling ball, and you're never shy when talking about Middleton's inconsistencies...

Yet, you want to analyze P.J. Tucker based on 20 regular season games w/ Milwaukee and three FG attempts per game in those games???

Did you not even watch the playoffs? Dude sticks close to the ground when he shoots these days.

Anyone that thinks Tucker will have the same impact on Miami as what Crowder has on the Suns needs to pass whatever they're smoking @Mebert

Once again he doesn't have to be crowder on offense and Miami isn't expecting that so stop bringing up this irrelevant point. He is and always was a better on the ball defender than Crowder

I am sure Crowders sub 35% 3 pointers and solid defense will be way different than Tuckers sub 35% 3 pointers and solid defense.

That sucks. He blows. Book it. Dude is toast and pure garbage. He should be getting 667K a year
He shouldn't be making any more than Carmelo is now - A veteran retread on a minimum deal.

Instead, he'll be making nearly three times as much.

By year two of his deal he's going to become what Rajon Rondo is now - A guy that no team wants to trade for and has no other options other than to be bought out.

You do realize Carmelo could have gotten more right? He CHOSE to get a minimum because he wanted a chance at a title. The Knicks were ready to offer more than that

Let's just call it what it is and stop wasting everyone time on this thread.

You just like your boy Wiggy think every move Miami make is bad because you hate the Heat.

All of sudden Tucker is some horrible player to you lol. Where was this criticism when the Bucks traded for him? You're full of shit and a hater.

Keep comparing tucker who is known for defense for to players like Melo who is known for scoring..

You know very little about basketball if you think Tucker was brought to Miami for offensive reasons

He wasn't say all these good things about Crowder when he was with the Heat. All of sudden Crowder is some great player in his eyes lol

Crowder was the piece that made swallowing Iggy's eight-figure salary worthwhile.

Once he left, the cHeat immediately went back to being what their talent level suggests they are - A first round out.

As I said you had nothing positive to say about Crowder when he was with the Heat. Typical hating shit from a loser.

I'll call it for what it is, and that is that Riley continuously gets praised for bullshit.

Enjoy your little AARP squad - Oladipo, Tucker, Lowry, and Jim-Me.
