as @wildturkey said the Heat are going to look for him use his experience to make a difference in a few possessions here and there and maybe a swing a couple more games their way. They aren't looking to him to win a title for them.

PJ Tucker is a role player, and a good one at that.

7 million is a bargain.

Yes, he is surely past his prime, but he has a game based on power and strength that ages well and I expect he will be a quality cog in the Heat rotation next year.

He shouldn't be making any more than Carmelo is now - A veteran retread on a minimum deal.

Instead, he'll be making nearly three times as much.
