And are you going to try to argue that a person has to go to a school to qualify as a fan? YES, I went to college. I went to UMD, hence Maroon and Gold. And I chose to go to a religious college after that, so that meant the UMn was not an option.

I figured I needed to justify my existence and fandom, since you challenged us on that accord.

I didn't feel it was worthy of being responded to. NO, I'd doubt even a majority of recruits are little mommas boys that feel the need to play in front of mommy and daddy, and I'm not sure I'd want little pussy momma boys like that on my team? Some of them, maybe, but for the most part, I want boys who want to become MEN. Most of those types have no desire to remain close to home.

And yes — recruits in Georgia, Florida, Texas, California, Ohio, etc have all top teams coming after their recruits.

So what does a team like Clemson have an advantage over a team like Minnesota for say a Florida recruit or a Georgia recruit? LOCATION. These recruits were brought up watching the ACC and SEC, some were brought up Clemson fans by their parents.

In B1G country, you are brought up watching B1G football. Every kid wants to play for championships, but many kids don’t want to travel across country to try. So Georgia kids usually go to Georgia or a school in the ACC or SEC. It isn’t rocket science.

If you went to Georgia and to sell a recruit on Minnesota you said — we have a lot of Fortune 500 companies in our state. They’d laugh you out of their house.

I'm not interested in a political debate, I've been avoiding the PF for that specific reason. I believe you're referring to her comments on Israel and dual loyalty. There are certainly conservatives, including our VP, who says they're Christian first. And supporters of Israel are just as likely to be a conservative christian as they are Jewish (Palin, Huckabee, come to mind)

But how we're on this road on a topic of college football is a mystery.
