B1G had 5 teams with 10 or more wins, the SEC only had 4.

Blah, blah, blah. Clemson, 10 years ago was what? A NEVER BEEN a blue blood program.

How often has Clemson cracked the Top Ten in recruiting?

What sticks out here,

Saban, Meyer, Dabo, Orgeron, Smart, Harbaugh?
10 years ago was the start of Dabo's HC career. Prior to that, they would probably have been a top 20-25 recruiting team (aka, better than what Minnesota just pulled in after their best season in forever)

Just curious, is Trump saying that he doesn’t want illegal immigrants in the country and calling Mexican cartel members “bad dudes” racist?

Feel free to put thread on PF. I'm unlikely change your mind. Believe what you want

And what did they do with that top 20-25 recruiting classes?

More years than not, they didn't make the Top 25.

1992-2011, 20 seasons, they only made the Top 20 ONCE, and NEVER cracked the Top 15. They only made the Top 25 seven times. 7 out of 20.

Ok? They had bad coaching. You need both good coaching and good talent. Minnesota is always going to struggle to get the talent.

Not with good coaching. Good coaches, get good talent, and/or develop the talent they have into good talent.

You CONTINUE to bring up Clemson. Go look at a map. Half the state of South Carolina borders Georgia. What does Georgia have? Like Nebraska, if Minnesota could moved the entire university to South Carolina — you, too, could be the next Clemson.

While you are recruiting Minnesota, South Dakota and North Dakota, as you stated earlier — you will never be Clemson..........ever.

Your current coach, right now, is living off the accomplishments of his predecessor. I won't believe in him until he proves himself. He did NOT prove much at all in that Clemson game. HORRIBLE coaching, imo.

Ohio is a ton warmer than Minnesota?

Ohio is the only talent rich state in the Midwest for recruiting. Michigan has the 2nd most blue chip recruits in the Midwest for recruiting and we have about 25% of the total Ohio does.

And OSU is a national football power with a national brand. Minnesota is not.

This is the 21st Century, you can get an airline ticket to Vegas for 99 bucks.

There is the internet, skype, youtube, facebook, etc..

Location is not as important as it used to be. And never will be ever again.

Did you really just compare flying to Vegas with flying in and out of MSP? :L

You are really proving your ignorance....

and yes. Location is important. To some, it's everything - for the ability to play in front of mom and/or dad. And if you have an offer from your backyard and comparing it to one from Minnesota (when all else is equal as far as playing time, etc....), you know the truth.

Do you work for the MN travel and tourism board, tho?!?!

Ok, I have one for you. Minnesota has 17 Fortune 500 companies, but only a little over 5.5 million population. So that means we produce fully THREE Fortune 500 companies per each mil in residents. I don't think any other state comes close to matching this.

So I ask you, what is the blue chip recruit per million residents?

Yeah, lets do some per capita sh1t here, because you claim there are so many recruits in Georgia, but you ignore how much competition there is for Georgia recruits.

Who the fuck cares about per capita? Every team has 85 roster spots.

As for Nebraska, Iowa, Purdue, Illinois, Indiana.... and even Wisconsin and Mich State.

There's no reason why we shouldn't be able to out recruit those schools with sustained success. PERIOD.

Im center left. I voted for boring white lady in primary. My only joy of illhan is watching righties get all worked up.

Oooohhh... to the left "boring" is synonymous with "corrupt". Now it makes a lot more sense.
