Even just looking at POST World War 2 UMn has A NATL TITLE of course, and 4 Top 10 finishes and 7 Top 16 finishes, WVU only has 8 Top 16 finishes, so it's not like WVU has been blowing Minnesota away post WW2.


What did I say, not a single Top 16 finish for WVU in over a dozen years?

That means most 2021 recruits, if not ALL of them, weren't old enough to remember WVU EVER getting into the Top 16.

So any advantage WVU might have had back a decade ago, has been totally flushed down the toilet.

Give him a couple more years, to either succeed in what he's promised to accomplish at UMn, or to figure out for sure that the recruits just won't go there no matter what. By then maybe Saban will want to retire? Dabo is far too young, and OSU just hired a new coach who seemed to do well. So what other school has enough to draw him away before he's accomplished what he's promised to do at Minnesota, AND is willing to take his whole culture thing as well?
