Been there, done that...Nolan actually played pretty well for the Flames, but it looks like Feaster wants to go with youth and speed, and I can't disagree with that approach.
Not sure why so much hatred for Nolan.. the guy is still a stud (albeit slow and a lot more fragile these days) and can score 15 goals easily in the NHL. For $1M or so, it's a great deal.
I wish our GM wasn't so fucking stubborn and let go of whatever bridges-that-were-burned stuff and signed Nolan but it'll never happen.
I'll just have to root for him to do well on your team now, I guess...
interesting that both Nolan and Jagr (from the famed 1990 draft class) are both returning to the league from Europe at the same time
I think only those two and Brodeur are left from that draft.
Owen Nolan?!?! What happened, Trent Klatt wasn't available?
Isnt Klatt a scout for some team ... Minni? (correction: Islanders ... good luck to them lol) coulda sworn i saw him on the draft day podium during the first round ... after all his NHLPA involvement hes gone management
dudes boiler is massive too
Klatt was one of my favorite grinders, and played one of the best checking lines of the 90's with Joel Otto and Shjon Podien.
fuck Joel Otto. and Jim Peplinski, too.
that puck was kicked in.
Why is it that you can't set foot in the Room of Hockey Memories without stepping on a Canuck fan's toe (or head)?
