Will be interesting to see how Brady performs the first few games. He's been pretty distracted with this whole thing and I think his wife is looking to divorce him. He looked awful in preseason (but that doesn't always tell much). We shall see....

In any event, I think it's a pretty big fail by the NFL lol. NFL just wasted a ton of resources and now look like a bunch of schmucks. Hopefully this means the end of Roger.
he played like 3 snaps with edelman

none with gronk, lafell, or wayne, etc

he also was behind a patch work preseason line

He knew the balls were deflated, but did he direct the ball boys to do that ?

It's like they tried to convict Brady for robbery, but all he did was receive "stolen" goods.
Stolen goods he knew were stolen at the least. How did these two conjure up the play to deflate the balls? Did they read Brady mind?

Didn't have 2 major weapons on the field, Grimm and Edelman

So you believe that brady is innocent?

I think he had an idea that the ball boys might have been tampering with the balls after they were supposed to.

Below the legal limit? unknown
Did he direct them to do anything illegal? Again unknown.

I tend to think no on those two questions if only because he doesn't need to. He as the superstar QB can bitch and moan that the balls were screwed up and they need to fix next time. That's all he has to do.

He doesn't need to be any more specific than that and it's very possible that's all he did. He can get them to jump regardless. He's like the f**ing greatest of all time. Do you think Dan Marino didn't act the same way. You know he did.

He certainly doesn't need to specify anything about PSI or doing something illegal. WHY should he need to?

All he has to do is routinely go through the balls and say "Yeah this is good, this too, too high, good" etc.

So the Wells report was right, he was generally aware.

Didn't he flip out on them when the balls were seriously over inflated against the Jests?

Of what? It's a pretty vague statement. Of tampering with the balls? Very possible. To an illegal limit? There's no proof there and there's certainly no proof he specifically told them to do anything illegal. I personally don't think so.

If you want to say that Brady was generally aware of some tampering but the rest of the report was total horses*it to give Goodell some ammo to come down hard on the Patriots and look the tough guy I could agree to that. :)

Yeah that's about $25,000 fines worth of transgressions.

Yes. Exactly. That's exactly the incident I'm talking about. He felt the balls were overinflated and he wanted them to fix it next time.. Fix them doesn't mean illegal. Did he go into the PSI levels. Hell no. Doesn't need to.
