too Bad its not as simple as letting Chip Foose steal the team and Overhaul it

last year looks like a Mirage

Tons of work to get done till next years opening day

What we have now is Pretty Pathetic IMHO

The Offense is terrible Linehan needs replaced

Defense looks terrible 2

Lots of work to get done and Im not sure Garrett is the right guy I'm beginning to think he is losing the team

The effort was just not there

The Cowboys are really bad right now Coaching really suspect players are suspect

They just sux right now

Is it time for a complete change next 3 games will let me know

Color's I'd give a D a little wiggle room, the ineptitude of the Offense did the D no favors.
Still like our OL going forward. We need to find a QB, TE, WR, and a RB who knows how to block a blitzer. On D we need that BIG FAT run stuffing DT.

don't think there is anything wrong with our OL. They aren't as good this year because we have zero threat in the passing game. Cassel & Weeden aren't gonna beat a team so they stack up to defend the run.

A side note. Doesn't help to have the most predictable play calling in the NFL either. if you consider all this, the OL is doing great (all things considered)

I did like what I seen from Turbin tonight. He didn't stutter step into the hole. He hit with a purpose.

But he sure did miss a couple blocking assignments.

Time to blow it up. This team is a mess. Let me illustrate the ways:

1. Terrible meddling Owner/GM and that still likes toys and projects and plays for broke with talents that are either injury prone or have potential mental/off field issues. Also, they did not prepare for two of the most important positions on the team - QB and RB.

2. Very average and mediocre coach who we just signed long term. Garret is now 44-40 or essentially 500 after 5 1/2 years. He is what he is. Mediocre coach who still can't game manage.

3. Our OC regressed tremendously this year. A huge step back.

4. Our QB is old, has an enormous contract and now is injury prone. Two back surgeries and three broken clavicles don't bode well for longevity.

5. Our defense plays hard, but ever since Marinelli has been here and even before dating back to Ryan, it is a defense that can NEVER make a stop when needed in the 4th quarter. Same ole, same ole.

6. The team has a losing record at home over the last two years and has no home field advantage thanks to Jones building disney for sports fans in Arlington.

7. We don't have a long term answer at running back.

8. Overpaid for an injury prone and troubled WR.

9. Our best offensive player is aging and not sure he has more than a couple of years less.

As nice as last year was, this year was a mirage. The good news is we will have a higher pick than expected and should be able to get a QB and RB and then can get some help in the secondary and D-line so it may be possible to turn it around and make the playoffs next year.

Another year with Jerrah and another fail!!

1. Hardy must go. Not for the attitude, but the lack of effort and body language.
2. Must find another great WR to push Dez to become a better player.
3. Must find a big fat defensive lineman that can dominate the interior of the offensive line
4. Aside from Byron Jones, complete overhaul in the secondary. They give up too many easy passes and make no plays on the ball. Byron Jones in his rookie season has unbelievably covered the flaws of a lot of our secondary. He has been asked to do so much. I'm interested to see how good he can be when he doesn't have to be absolutely everywhere on the field covering for our trash players and can just be a ballhawk. Hopefully getting Scandrick back will make things easier on Jones. I better not see Carr or Claiborne on this team next year. And if it were up to me, Church would be gone too. He has completely taken a step back this year. He went from being one of our best open-field tacklers to complete trash.
5. Must find a QB of the future. No more bullshitting. No more putting all the eggs in the Romo basket. Spend a 2nd-3rd rounder on a QB THIS FUCKING DRAFT.
6. I love Marinelli, but I almost want to change schemes or something. The zones have got to go. The Cover 2 has got to go. We don't have the personnel for it and we don't have enough players with a high IQ to execute the defense properly. Either let Marinelli go or bring in some more high IQ players that know how to properly play passing zones and know how to adjust to what's going on around them.

I agree with most of your post. on 4, we will have Scandrick back. on 5, we need to get a QB in round one if there is one worth taking when we pick. Marinelli is a position coach. Nothing more and nothing less. Great DL coach. Beyond that, well.....

Over-reacting imo. If Romo's healthy.....they win the East and maybe easily. The position they will want to address is backup QB.

Jerry put this team together. He has no one to blame but himself.

If you want to win a Super Bowl , I don't think you can take a Qb in the first round or 2 or 3. Those 3 players need to come in and contribute. Now if you want to blow it up then yes draft a qb early.

Most here won't disagree, but take it from a all in Romo supporter, facts are his age and injuries are a MAJOR concern.

True. That's why I think they really need a quality backup. I think he can play at a high level for another 2-3 years since he didn't become a starter until he was 26.

I really like Romo....if healthy, he's right there below Brady and Rogers with Brees as the best QB's in football.

We need a backup qb. Not sure whose going to be a fa but if one is there in the draft for the future you have to take him.
We need a fat block eating run defending dt to complement crawford.
Our offense would really benefit from some speed. I'm sorry but i'd look to replace witten he offers a few 5 yard catches a game, but he looks old and slow and gets tackled by the wind.
Need to upgrade the rb position.
Defensively we will benefit from getting scandrick back but carr has to go, our safties are garbage.

Agree, but do you think that ever happens again? We need to find a QB.
Yeah we have some holes, but we have a lot of talent too. I bet if Scandrick was around we wouldn't have seen all those late game collapses. Need another corner, keep Jones at FS. Find someone to play the 1 tech that can make some plays. And another receiver. Don't all need to be studs, but just improve a little at those spots. Cut Carr and Hayden who do nothing but hurt us and find somebody young players. So sick of watching those two get PT and do nothing with it. But, which NFC East team doesn't have a list of needs as big as ours? We really are a payer or two from the playoffs and they are already on the team, just need to stay healthy...
