My guess is Linehan, or the ST coach.

I hope that no one is fired. If they want to leave, go ahead. But to fire someone with all the injuries and lack of draft help is crazy. We lost our top CB in the preseason. We lost our top QB and top WR for long stretches. Our top WR still isn't 100%, so that affects us. The DC was handed a headcase and some rookies, a LB who is suspended and another coming back from a year off. Do we even have any CB's starting on Saturday that were on the roster during training camp?

I know coaches take the fall, but I wish they could be given another year.

I don't want any firings either, just think Jerry will want to blame someone.

I agree with Ford. I can't see firings with all the injuries and time missed for so many players. This team was at full strength when this year? Not once.

with a normal owner or GM and not Jerry who is sounding more and more desperate, I'd agree. Jerry may not have learned that you can't keep shaking everything up and expect to find success.

Or maybe he has just passed that bug to Cuban. :L

I'm not a huge fan of knee jerk firings, but we should have won a few more of those games and people do need to be held accountable in the NFL. I'll leave it up to someone else do decide who or if...

Were there many coaching gaffes that cost us games? I guess the ST coach in the Giants game maybe. A case could be made (easily I might add) that our secondary coach could be blamed for the two overtime losses on 50+ yard catches.

For most teams it would be the GM followed by some coaches, but we know the GM ain't going away.

More and more it seems like that where it matters, behind closed doors, the GM is Stephen.

When you give the game away in the final minutes over and over, yes. Those are clearly games that could have been won but had 4th quarter collapses. We found ways to lose them. Did no one notice the defense was having trouble getting pressure and the secondary was getting torched? Yet other than one or two games we seldom blitzed. We can blame Cassell and Weeden, but someone called those plays where we threw short on almost every 3rd down. Conditioning other than last year seems to remain a problem with this team. The OL play dipped a little this year. Time management remains an enigma for this team. Kudos to whomever coaches Bailey and LP. They remain the best at their craft...

Again, I'm not saying anyone should go, just saying giving the coaches a bye is not acceptable in the NFL

I agree Steven has more power than in years past but Jerry is still meddling with the soup. Again though in most cases the GM (Steven) would be gone followed by the staff. Injuries hurt this team this year, but falling from 12 wins to this would bring out an axe.

somewhere between the 2013 team and last years team is what we have here in Dallas.
I think we're a lot closer to the team this year than the team in 13.

I agree, we are a 9 win team +/- 2 games a year because the ball bounces funny.

Always been a JG fan. I can't lie- he isn't as high on my list as he once was. Romo loves JG and Linehan, so I think they are safe. Then again he loved MUrray too

I like Jason. He's far from the end all of head coaches, and remains somewhat on the job training for many aspects to the position. I think he has the sociology part down pat, and that's important for coaches in today's sport....but, he has warts, such as what you post above. Jimmy & Landry pissed Aikman and Staubach off all the time. Each knew they were the field general, but not the man in charge and many things were not up for discussion. Jason may of established a little to much cool big brother mindset here, I don't know, BUT I do still think very few worth their salt head football coaches would come to work for the general manager in Dallas.

I shutter to think where this team would be if not for Bill Parcels reaching out to Jerry and wanting to " Restore the Luster to the Star".

Jason or Spin Again....I hear Jerry likes the job Chan is doing with the Jets. Wonder if Jerry has an on field chat with him this Saturday....pitch a tent over this GM Jerry circus side show!

Bill was a failure in Dallas. He did not accomplish any thing different then what we have now.

no....the culture in Dallas's locker room then was as bad as a sports team could have. There was zero accountability and if nothing else, Bill restored that. Bill has getting there and Jerry couldn't stay in the back seat any longer. Jerry messed that up....again, Ask Jimmy

Yep, if Jerry didn't force TO on Bill, Bill would have stayed around. Bill wanted no part of TO and his antics.

Revistionist history. Bill did not accomplish the goals that were set. Romo and Ware were good gets, but he had too many ex washed up fomer Giants and Jets players on those teams.
