I am so glad we don't have Johnny here. I can't say it enough. That is scary that jerry still thinks he would have been a good addition. If he gets the chance to get him I'm afraid what he might give up to do it.
After listening to Jerry's interview yesterday, I'd be stunned if the Cowboys don't go QB in the 1st round. He talked openly about how he should have overruled Stephen and taken Johnny Football to get a young, talented QB on the roster. Of course, taking Martin was the right call, which is the scary part going forward
Did he really say that?what an asshole if he thinks Manziel would be better on this team than Martin. That is just an asinine statement even if it were true. Based on the fact it is a million miles from true it's a bizarre head scratcher of a comment for an owner to make. Bet Martin feels real special right now...After listening to Jerry's interview yesterday, I'd be stunned if the Cowboys don't go QB in the 1st round. He never said anything negative about Martin personally, he just said he knew it was a mistake that he didn't take Manziel and its haunted him for 2 yearsDid he really say that?what an asshole if he thinks Manziel would be better on this team than Martin. I like Cook too, but I'm leary of taking him top 10. Thing is if he's the QB wanted we HAVE to take him #1 no matter where we fall. I love to trade back, get an extra pick or two, and still land a QB, but if it's QB we want we can't monkey around.I am looking forward to watching the game Spartan game on NYE. I really like their QB (Connor Cook) and want to see him one more time.

First time I saw Cook this year I was ready to call him as our future, of course I thought Dallas would be drafting much later in the draft at the time. Cook has the talant, just that in the few times I've seen him since I'm leary of a top pick on him. I won't break my TV if he's out 1st, just worried about wasting a 1st on a QB if he's a bust. You can say I still live in the days of yore when a 1st round bust especially a high 1st QB sets the franchise back years. If Romo can go another full year or two and a young future franchise QB can sit I could be sold on that idea. I'm in the win now Jerry mode and see a run stuffing DT as the prime need. Yes QB is a major need too. DT, QB or ball hawking DB in the first and I'm good. TE in the first I better walk away or risk throwing a brick at the TV.At this point I would have no problem taking him in the top ten. I am sure you have your reasons for thinking this is not a good deal but if he is the QB of the future, and I think he could be that guy, taking him with our number one and top 5 or so would not bother me in the least. He is projected as the 3rd best qb to come out. Marino was the 8th qb picked or something like that....
I like Cook, think the perfect scenario for him would be a place like Dallas and playing behind Romo for a couple of years. Sitting didn't hurt Romo, sure didn't hurt Rodgers...for me, if the Cowboys did draft Cook or Goff, I'd like to see them sign a veteran FA to be the backup if Romo goes down. Both of those kids have potential, but not year 1 IMO. Continue to build the D and keep that OL in place and 2017 or 2018 would be a great situation for a young QBFirst time I saw Cook this year I was ready to call him as our future, of course I thought Dallas would be drafting much later in the draft at the time. Might want to move the bigscreen.....It wouldn't surprise me at all if Jerry signs either RG3 or Johnny Football AND drafts a QB in the top 5. If you look at Jerry, that's the way he does things, it has to be a huge splash, the billion dollar stadium, a freaking party bus lol. The guy is a Billionaire with little man syndromeIm afraid I might throw something through the tv, if we end up w RG3

I would actually be good with RG3 if were only viewed as a backup for Romo and the Cowboys still look for a QB in the draft this year or next, whatever the round. I seriously doubt Griffin would come here knowing he might sit a couple of years and then have to compete for the job, but if he did, I think it might work out for him and the Cowboys. He needs a fresh start for sure, but he also needs to go and learn a system before being thrown to the wolvesOut of the QB mentioned to Dallas RG3 is the one I'd prefer. Don't want Manziel but at least he'd be interesting. Want no part of Crappernick
