Tepesch first start after being on the DL ... has pitched well at AAA in rehab. Wash gave him the start over Blackley because Tepesch was in the rotation out of camp ... so its a seniority loyalty thing that Wash is famous for.

Vargas lasted only 4.0 giving up 5ER to TBR in his last start.
