Second time this draft the player I was taking with my next pick was selected right before me.

Sorry nos Amukamara and Trufant were vital to my defensive system. I was actually afraid he may not make it back. Went Trufant first two years without yielding a TD. But both were great lock down corners/ ball hawks in college. And both fit that 5-2 base 2-4-5 Nickel D. My all time favorite D. Rare chance to get to play it in a draft

I will text couch

So the physical test for the Adult Detention Officer job was 12 push-ups in 1 min, 22 sit ups in 1 min, then lift and put on a 50+ tank on our back, put on a mask that was covered so we couldn’t see. Then crawl on pavement searching for a dummy that weighs 160pds. Once found drag the dummy back to where we started then lift him onto stretcher. Then later took a 100 question test. Passed it all and now waiting for them to call me for a interview.

Only thing weird is the requirement for only 12 push-ups in a minute. That seems absurdly low.

Oh and there was a odd number of people so I had to do it twice and help the remaining guy crawl & drag the dummy.

Hmm interesting. 12 push-ups in 1 minute is kind of a weird number and very low.

Apparently you guys aren't familiar with jail/prison guards, they would not be mistaken for body builders there are also women guards, a friend of mine works as a prison guard and she loves her job, she's like 5'1 130 pounds. You aren't asked to do many push ups because the job doesn't call for you to do push ups, but you might have to drag a body though, they make it relatively easy because they need guards badly, lot of turnover and they are always hiring.

I'm familiar enough to know that there are probably plenty of guards who do not possess the strength, but it still boggles my mind why that requirement is that low. I mean there's not really a ton of difference between 12 and say 20 in a minute. Why 12?

Why not 12? Some people probably cant do 20, one every 5 seconds is 12, seems simple enough...

I didn't read his job title, I thought it was something else. That makes sense. And yeah for someone that is in decent shape 12 isn't a lot but there are a lot of people that can't do 12 pushups or at least it's difficult.
