As I said earlier, early-season rankings are almost useless in this day and age in college basketball. That being said, this is a BIG result.
Maybe North Carolina will wake up and play better after this result... or maybe the Tar Heels aren't the strong team we all thought they were. Only time will tell.

Without Hudson and Miller-McIntyre, I expect Indiana to handle Wake pretty easily tonight.

Wake was picked to finish 11th in their conference, not 15th. Thanks for doing your homework, Jason Williams.

Also, there isn't anything more irrelevant in sports than pre-season rankings.

Wake's play without two of their best players in the first half is very encouraging. Hopefully it is a sign of things to come later in the season when we get CMM and Hudson back. The defense is still struggling though. That is an area of concern.
