OU needs to be like TCU in having more of a ball control type of offense since it will give your defense time to rest.
I have no idea. Guess Cumbie/Patterson bought into the "...he's the highest rated QB recruit we've ever landed" mentality. Either he wasn't ready to begin the year. He had perpetual brain fart turnovers in the Ohio State and Texas games. That should have been enough. This new QB apparently, I mean why did it take them so long to make switch????
When you're offense is struggling to score against Texas Tech you know there's something really wrong

About as dumb of a way to end a half as I’ve ever seen. Good lord that was retarded.

In his defense, he's been hurt lately...besides having his confidence shaken. They should have done it sooner.
And, even though they've looked decent this year, that TCU defense is missing safeties...and that is critical to what Patterson likes to do. They ain't what they normally are.
They haven't been very good...even when rested. The shitty TCU offense made them look good.OU needs to be like TCU in having more of a ball control type of offense since it will give your defense time to rest.
He looked like shit in the Texas gm. That’s the game where Patterson punted at the 40 down 15 with about 3 minutes left
Yeah, I don't think they did him a favor by continuing to play him...mentally or physically. They probably should have sat him while he's been hurt, he's better when he has his running ability
You can always tell who actually watches the game and who doesn’t.OU has nearly doubled up TCU on both time of possession and yards. Defense has given up 2 plays really. And one was a push off. All comes down to special Ed special teams, penalties, and dumb coaching decisions so far.OU needs to be like TCU in having more of a ball control type of offense since it will give your defense time to rest.
