The reading is great. I'm not much of a reader and I love them, they keep you hooked.

jeff you get the sense that they're really pushing Jon's story line in the series? it's significantly further ahead of where it is in the book.. and aside from the dragon's getting stolen i read that whole episode aside from the Jon parts

what i just realized is that they never found the dragon glass. that's very interesting. won't spoil anything but just curious how they'll work it in. i feel like jon's storyline, up to a point is flexible the way dany's is.

by the way, again not spoiling anything, but there was some foreshadowing in this episode, will not be specific about which storyline, that makes my skin tingle thinking of the opening of season 3.

Finally got all caught up with season 2 I wanna read the books now, is that a pretty heavy task or are they pretty quick and easy reads? I only ask because I read so much as it is, I'm not sure where I can fit them in.

I found the books fun to read. However, each person really has their favorite story lines, and sometimes the others can drag on a bit. It's funny, though, because there is no consensus about which story lines those are. Some people hate the Dany story line, others Jon's. They really are excellent books, though, as long as you don't mind 1,000 pages apiece (except for the first book).

I couldn't care less about Sansa. Wish that bimbo had been killed during the melee last episode. Would've made life much easier for the Starks.

I'm about halfway through the fourth book and Sansa's is just now starting to grow on me. I think my favorites so far have been Arya, Jon, Jaime and actually Brienne has grown on me.

Possible spoiler, I don't know:

I was really enjoying both the Hounds and Davos's characters, but the only thing we hear about them in the fourth book is hearsay in other storylines.

I don't read fiction (except World War Z and Abe Lincoln Vampire Hunter). Just commenting on what has happened in the show thus far.

just to limit the chances of spoilage, i will stick just to what the show has gotten to, and to me arya and tyrion have stolen the show, with theon coming close.


but my favorite character right now is jaqen. he is just too fuckin cool.

i agree.. although, robb had a great start this season.. wish we could see more of what he's up to.. hopefully he's coming up in the book
