I read LaVey's book, and then I got to the part where he says "Don't let anyone else tell you what to believe, think for yourself". So I burned his bitch ass book.

You are SO going to pay for that.

I am possessed by the awe inspiring power of Satan. I AM god (or at least one in a long line of many); worship me now or face eternal damnation, damn it!

And you know what; christianity preaches that those who don't believe in christ are inherently evil (god promotes you getting put to death, or thrown in the "lake of eternal fire" for non-belief).

So you know what. I'm just going to say that christians are fucking assholes; at least the ones that believe I should be sent to hell. If you don't believe I should go to hell, then I take it all back and apologize. Otherwise; again, fuck you. If I was a member of some cult whose doctrine said christians should be tortured slowly and put to death; wouldn't your immediate reaction be -- fuck you blindbaby, you prick. What's the difference?

Oh, and there is no hell, which probably makes this even more bizarre.

We're on it.

I can't stop researching Ayahuasca. DMT is what all the ancient shamans used for thousands of years. I am seriously starting to believe this is where the concept of religion came from. If you have a good state of mind your trip is amazing and ethereal... If you are in a bad state of mind your trip can be very "hellish".

Some day... I will see for myself.

No one is completely in control of their mind... Unless you are some yogi.

Maybe that's my problem, then. The only time I feel I don't have complete control of my mind is when I'm sleeping, drunk or stoned. But nothing mind-bending comes out of that which would make me change my world view.

It's just what you believe... No one has complete control of their mind.

I truly believe there is so much more we are capable of... But we just haven't unlocked the true potential of our minds.

Think about all these ancients that had to deal with famine, drought, disease, eating bad/poisonous food (shrooms!)...fasting, malnutrition, and the like will cause the mind to hallucinate. Coupled with their relative lack of knowledge of how the world works as compared to today, it's no wonder so many different people conjured up so many outlandish stories to explain the world around them and what they were experiencing at the time. Then some kings decided to pick and choose which of these stories (and other stories that pre-dated and didn't even originate from babylon/mesopotamia, making them even less reliable, both in translation and lack of worldly knowledge) were to be bundled together into one book.

Then fast forward to today where you have people reading and interpreting this book and coming to conclusions that the earth is only 6000 years old, or that dinosaurs co-existed with humans, despite physical evidence to the contrary. Will the madness ever end?

I don't doubt that there will come a day that there won't be a need for physical computers and a physical internet. The mind will have developed the ability to just conjure up it's own version of a computer and an internet then voila, you can send text messages to some someone in India via mental telepathy.

Maybe that's the extreme end, but surely, in 5,000 years from now, everything happening right now will be laughably primitive.
