OT: Video Game Geek Out

I dig the zombie stuff, but it loses me quickly. I am more into the fantasy shit.

i started playing Dead Space (first one) last night. holy crap its really good.

I bought Halo CE: Anniversary Edition. it was cool to replay that game with updated graphics. But MAN does it have ALOT of bugs.

Easily the scariest game since Silent Hill 2, IMO, and one of my all time favorites.

Have you gotten to any of the sections where you have to rely on your suit's supply yet?

yeah Im now at the part where I have to go outside the ship and avoid the debris hitting the deck. I cant make it more than 5 feet before being crushed. any tips?

That pretty much sums it up from what I remember.

The parts where you are outside are amazing though, especially the sound effects. There generally aren't any, but wait until you start hearing Isaac struggle for breath as your air supply gets low.

yeah I got that when I had to venture to short spurts outside to get to another room and only had a little air can. the sound effects are great and the ambiance is pretty spectacular for a game. good mood

you can still wing with him. but he specializes in throwing. I will replay it with the asian girl who specializes in cutting weapons next

playing Dead Space yesterday and I had put a water bowl (empty) up on a gate that I use to block the dogs from going upstairs during one scene of dead space had me coming out of an elevator when a alien attacks me and jumps away in a scary sequence. well one of my dogs at that exact same time knocked the gate and metal bowl fell and made a huge bang. I fucking jumped out of my seat. this game is GOOD

i love almost any game now where you can customize weapons and then use them to dismember your enemy and leave them crawling and then you can finish them off
