Another Lower Mainland overpass has reportedly been hit by a truck, this time in Langley over Highway 1 Tuesday morning.

A mama bear got run over and had to be put down down the street from us last week. They took her two cubs and they say they'll be OK to release into the wild next year but still sad.

time to start removing business licenses from teh offending businesses and the drivers license of the driver. and the business should pay for the damage. that would help force them to hire better drivers.

Our creek is pretty much, an ursine super highway. There’s one big bad boy that comes through here every now and again that I wouldn’t wanna have to tangle with. But they don’t bug us. They pass right on through looking for fruit trees.

I felt we were a 3 degree drop from getting snow last night, it had that feel. Calgary got hammered yesterday. a little earlier than normal.

Hearing there's quite a few power outages on the south island - Have to think the heavy wet snow pulled down a few power lines.

I had to drive down Island to Duncan yesterday to see the ophthalmologist. You could see that there had been snow on top of the hump here but the road was clear but south of Nanaimo along the highway you could see snow. And it was sunny.

Mt. Arrowsmith is all white and looking like a proper mountain again.
