I’ve eaten at Shanghai River right down the street a few times before. Decent duck - don’t recall if rice and hotdog was on the menu.

at least it didn't hit an underpass

When I was in my mid teens, me and three friends used to buy a shit load of fire crackers. We didn’t bother with Roman candles, or anything that was fireworks, we just wanted fire crackers.
We would go to one of my friends parents place at Dolphin Beach, which is by Beachcomber south of Parksville.
We’d bring our pellet pistols and shoot ladyfingers into the sky for our own fireworks.
One of my friends was a very unlucky fellow. He had all his fire crackers unraveled and in a paper bag. We were always trying to throw firecrackers into his bag, but he was guarding it by standing over top. He had his punk to light the fire crackers in one hand, and he was reaching into the bag for another fire cracker, and he dropped the punk. Into the bag. It was it is impressive. Not as impressive as that truck but it sure was funny.

Diego Maffia has to be a paisano of @jstewismybastardson - Very impressive point guard. It was a split last night by the way, the Dinos women beat the Vikes ladies, but the men's Vikes team after a close 1st quarter blew out the Dinos.

I wasn't sure whether to put this here or in the BS thread, but since it's about In-n-Out Parcel in Point Roberts, I'll put it here...

So I made a purchase from a company in the States and they don't ship to Canada which is fine, I'll just ship it to in-n-Out Parcel in Point Roberts. When I was working in Burnaby and making weekly trips to/from the island, I was just zip down there and pick up packages and it was great. Now that I'm working permanently on the island, I'm using their global shipping service as it makes no sense to make two ferry trips just to get a package.

I'm tracking this package and you'd think they would just send it to Vancouver and then put it on a ferry and it would be here lickety split. Oh but no, this package has gone back down south to Bellingham and then east through Illinois and today has landed...in Toronto lol
