Thanks alot Trudeau
P.P. LePewThanks a lot Pierre Poilievre....
sporadic cell service as well from what I read ... saw on the news many successfully drove it yesterday after seeing on reddit many warning against driving it ... I think there is safety in numbers though as many are driving it so its basically a convoyMy daughter will be taking the logging road from Port Alberni to Lake Cowichan today - No services (gas/food/lodging) on that road. Good luck and may the force be with her

I cant find the reddit thread now but people were chiming in saying the road is in rough shape, have to have good tires, dry and super dusty with poor visibility.Yeah, it's a very winding narrow road with sharp turns - With so many vehicles on it, speed will be greatly reduced so everyone will have to exercise patience.

people also saying you need a radio to warn logging trucks but I think (would hope) with all the traffic now the logging trucks are probably more aware and wont be bombing down that stretch like they would in normal times
Hope they dont meet the same fate as LyttonMeanwhile in Tumbler Ridge...
Update to the update: Just informed that my daughter just made it to Lake Cowichan. Yay!
