Interesting that Freidman will be a regular contributor to the donnie and dhali show on chek ... HERES WHAT IM HEARING (my best Pratt voice) if the show makes it to labour day, dont be surprised if 650 shakes up their lineup and simulcasts the show on radio. Taylor left rogers on semi-bad terms (dhaliwal a lesser degree) but a return seems inevitable

/listened to the new sekeres and price podcast ... they announced they will be eventually doing a live streaming show in the afternoon drive time slot 3 to 6 which is something

Interesting game of chicken ... 650 might need to make a move on its show hosts before their contracts end on labour day and bring in the 1040 guys to stem off a potential new fm all sports radio station

Step 1 - Don't deal drugs
Step 2 - Don't speed
Step 3 - If you don't follow steps 1 and 2, don't try to run over a law enforcement officer.

A Vancouver Island driver has lost their Masarati following an investigation that started with them allegedly intentionally driving at a police officer.

West Shore RCMP says the Maserati Levante was clocked at 110 km/h in an 80 km/h zone on Highway 17 in Saanich on June 3, 2020.

When the officer tried to pull it over, the driver allegedly accelerated instead and “intentionally drove at the officer, nearly hitting him,” according to an RCMP media release.

The officer took down the vehicle’s licence plate number and Victoria police seized the Maserati on June 14 as “offence-related property” for the allegations of dangerous driving.

Police obtained a warrant and say they found “a large quantity” of illegal narcotics and evidence of drug trafficking.

Idk ... no more off the rails than its ever been imo ... horrible circumstances here but suspects appear to have been known to the victim ... i guess the age of one suspect can be seen as a shocker but violence against women by men has happened forever

/on that note, i came across the past few years of pcaha rulebooks a couple weeks back as i was cleaning our home office and i happened to look at the back section of one that has the historical award winners and honours of volunteers/players/teams.

Just randomly noticed the name of a long time minor hockey volunteer from my neighborhood who murdered an aboriginal women in the 90’s. I checked all the annual rulebooks i had and they end up honouring him/his name for his volunteerism in every book. I checked online and hes in the rulebook they have posted online too.

sickened by it so i sent a dm to the pcaha risk management twitter account and pointed out what i thought maybe was an oversight on their part and that they may want to take his name out of the section. They havent responded to me :noidea:

If the posts on facebook and reddit are to be believed, the 15 year old charged is the daughter of the victim ... and the 21 year old is the daughters boyfriend
