I think that's doctor slang for the heads of NHL and NFL players when they go in an MRI."Glow in the dark loonies" would be a great name for a band.

My son was at a goalie camp this week run by a former OSU goalie who was drafted by the Devils and was the AHL goalie and their AHL goalie coach for 12 years. Yesterday, the last day of camp he brought in a friend and former Columbus Chill goalie who is now the Red Wings goalie coach to help out.
As my son was checking out, they both told me (and him) that he's a few routines away from being excellent. He seems to let emotion get in his way when things are going south (he gets that from his mother). If he starts playing a more thinking and less reacting game he will be very successful.
And after my son walked away the Red Wing coach said he was the best out there. By more than a little bit. Other coach just nodded.
And the guy who used to play for the Chill is best friends with my son's head coach in High School. They played together on the Chill. Soooo, hopefully he'll stop by and add some instruction when they are in town.
