The road to get out of our neighborhood has never been plowed. Often it seems as if it has been treated by zamboni, and with the slight uphill at the main road it gets tough. So this morning, I am going out to work and a guy in a pickup that is apparently only RWD is having a really tough time. I stay back and wait, and after a few failed attempts, he sticks his arm out the window and waves me by.

I swing wide of him and move up, check the cross street and see it's clear (which is rare) so I gun it, throw the tail out and steer hard left into the drift. I toss him a "Thank you" wave as I dirt track past him onto the main road.

He was looking at me as if to say "Are you a wizard?"
