Maybe on some level they try to pick someone who they think will just be happy to have the "relationship" and won't go blabbing.

I see it all the time and just can't understand why people who make a TON of money and have all the opportunities in the world can't keep it together by following a few simple societal rules.

Especially that dumbass, he already got caught once. Shouldn't be that hard to follow the rules. He's already seen the consequences.

Well the exact opposite happens...the women are all like look at me! I've never had a boyfriend before and look who loves me now! :L

Too true Dash. It's just too easy for parents (and schools) to give kids crap to eat these days. Nobody seems to walk anywhere any more either. I had a "friend" of mine refuse to walk 700 m with her child because it was "too tough with the kid and all" :L

IMO that's the one of the biggest problems here. I, with a bunch of others, walked about a mile to all of my schools. Now it seems they are all bussed and the bus literally stops every block or street.

We walk to a park (with a playground) pretty much every evening with the kids and the "funny" thing is all the kids at the playground are fit active and healthy looking :noidea:

I guess you could say the sad thing is its always the same kids there every night

Yup. Same here. About a mile each way (starting at age 5 LOL). Play football or soccer at lunch and at both recesses. Then the organized sports that I'd play in the evenings.

That level of activity, which was pretty standard (maybe a bit above average) back then, doesn't seem very common anymore.

My dad walked closer to 2 miles to school every day. Unsupervised. In Detroit (circa 1950s).

It was a different world back then.

Just to clarify, it was uphill both ways and in the snow, right? And you didn't have shoes?

Tell us more, gramps!
