No kidding - I guess if there is a silver lining, I'm glad it happened in the old building rather than a brand new arena.

I think so (definitely looks like a shot of 8th through 12th Ave). The Elbow River Casino is under water as well, I spent quite a bit of time in that place.

i spent quite alot of time on Electric Ave

Ive never seen this much water in a city I have lived in (and I lived in calgary a good long time) you see it in the news in other cities but it never truly resonates until you see familiar getting it.
