I'm enjoying this season more than the last several but Daryl was pretty dumb this episode. In addition to leaving the ax, his refusal to take Lydia back to Hilltop is pretty dumb, especially since he was willing to fight to keep her there a few weeks ago. The Whisperers are just as likely to assume she's there whether she's there or not. Better to get back there and warn them to get ready to fight and actually be able to offer Lydia if a hostage exchange is necessary like last time.

And yeah those cowboys seems like a lame addition to the show.

in the novels the character is supposed to be a former star nba player but his identity is never revealed. Im hoping on the tv show he is killed and it ends up being Kevin Love and when they pull the death mask off someone says i thought this was supposed to be a former nba star

was he supposed to be a “star”, or just in the NBA? I legit don’t remember (I remember him being in the NBA, though.

And iirc, Tyrese was supposed to be a former practice squad Falcon. Not a star, but recognizable by big fans. I believe it was Michone who recognized him.

i guess “they” never called him “star” in the book but it was mentioned when they unmasked him that he was in a movie and in “all those car commercials”. I think it was Jesus who recognized him and he wasnt a sports fan

The idea of the tunnels was stoopid, no argument. But they mention that it was Dante’s handy work.

i liked her at first then quickly got annoyed......... at myself for still watching this putrid debacle. I guess Im in it to the end. whatever crap that may be...

I was kinda thinking they were going to off her there as well. She becomes a big-ish char in the books from here on out, but they killed off Dante on the show and he was a core character in the books as well, so anything can happen.

I too was “rooting” for her demise, though. Never was a fan of the character.
