I have no idea if he did any of what he is accused of. But it certainy seems to me that outside of the blackballing, everything else is just him being an ass. And she says she still decided to stay even though he was not a nice guy.

This whole #metoo thing is getting very scary. Very witch-hunt-ery.

I've also heard that when he was more of a comedian and was still drinking that he was a very angry person. I've ever heard him and others joke about that. That might explain some stuff but I think he has been sober for years

I can't believe that the sexual assaults without more proof. The me too movement is both wonderful and incredibly scary at the same time in these instances. Without full proof he's full out guilty to the majority. The black balling and tyrant attitude I believe just from the accounts of so many others saying they witnessed it. But I guess they could be lying... Not sure why so many would though. Guarantee though his career won't be the same guilty or innocent. That's today's world

I always thought Talking Dead etc was unwatchable.

Thought Hardwick was personable on other shows though. The fact that she stayed even though things were bad doesn't mean anything to me, lots of people stay in abusive relationships.

My mother was the strongest woman I have ever known, and she was married to an alcoholic dickhead who beat her regularly. She had 2 kids with him before the abuse started. He always said he would kill her and my sisters if she ever left him. Thankfully, she met my dad and got the courage from him to leave him for good and spent 30+ years with someone who loved and cherished her, and who not once raised his hand to her.

My frustration with #metoo is not that guys are getting punished. It is that they getting found guilty at the mere accusation. That’s why I have begun calling these guys “witches”.

I have no idea if CH did any of the things he is being accused of. But his career is now over because an ex simply said he did them. And his defense argument has been scoffed at off hand.

I have something that I don't like to tell people, but I feel like I should share it with you all. Nearly a decade ago I fell in love with a television show. It's characters had a sparkle in their eye, it was interesting and different, and the story was compelling. I've watched other shows before and I know they don't always end well, but this one lured me in and I had hopes that this time it would all work out.

Unfortunately, over time, that changed. What had started off as us against the world quickly devolved into us against each hour. This show would force me to watch as I was dragged around in circles for hours at a time. Incidents which would have been resolved in a sensible way years before were now taking hours and putting me through mind-numbing abuse. I was subjected to torture ****. Songs were played repeatedly to slowly drive me insane. I had gone from a person treated well and living in a beautiful place to one that was metaphorically living among piles of garbage. I had to get out.

So I did. It wasn't easy. It's hard to not hope for the way things started. It's hard to not think that things would turn around and go back to when they were good. To before the abuse started. But I "walked" away. And I'm a stronger person for it and realize now how I was abused and manipulated.

I am usually pretty faithful to a series and finish it once I start, often with later seasons ruining the overall experience. But I could not bring myself to watch TWD anymore, in fact the Easy Street episode was the final straw. I was getting a Brozilian the other day and the technician said the same thing.
