I don't think so, but maybe it got the whole ball rolling - It was about five games into the third set where she chatted to the umpire and indicated she would be taking a medical timeout and she appeared six minutes later with her thigh heavily taped. If it's not the US Open, she likely retires, but she tried to gut it out. Sakkari was just too good and outlasted her in the end.
