40 years of Verne Lundquist at Augusta has come to an end.

50+ years he has been part of my sports consciousness. From being the anchor on the #1 TV station in Dallas to his time as the Cowboys play-by-play icon. Spent more than a few nights catching Cowboys games on Armed Forces Radio Network while stationed in England. An absolute legend.

Now off to creepy Butler Cabin where we isolate people and suck all the crowd and fun out of the championship presentation...

Yeah, enough with Butler's Cabin already. Or completely change the timing of it.
