OT: Brown Leaves CA

Looks like Brown sold his Hermosa home and is moving back to NY to focus on coaching and his kids and obviously no doubt being close to family. His wife is also from that area so it makes sense for them. Happened in February - my birthday to boot - but just found the article.

I always felt his wife called the shots in the family, as is the case most of the time. Wouldn't be surprised if she said we're done here, great job, let's go home.

I can't even imagine having that kind of money to afford a place like this haha.

Kind of goes from one dumpster to another but hey when you've banked $67 million in your career I guess you can do what you want and not feel it too much.

Checked out the photos, not my style - I'm more country, wrap around porch, livestock a rocking chair and shotgun kind of guy - but nice house nonetheless. Curious who ended up buying it.

We live on 5 ac of desert lol....wife has horses, chickens, dogs n cats....I got side by sides and guns....my stuff way better!

I'm still stuck here for 6 more years until Junior II graduates, then I'm out of here. Been thinking about Montucky, WY, ND, SD or Alaska. Centre Ice it is where ever I end up, I'll catch a game in CA when I visit my family.

Been a long almost 40 years (next year) in CA and it's been sad to see a state I was once bright eyed about as an 11 year old then into literally a dumpster fire because of the people in charge.
