Been on something of a Thin Lizzy/Gary Moore 'kick' ever since I saw Sly's post the other day. Here's one of Gary w/Albert Collins.

Gary is pretty sick.

I've been listening to a lot of Bonamassa (nothing new there) as well as Jeff Beck.

I'm now getting into Eric Gales, Philip Sayce and Henrik Freischlader.

yeah, Gary Moore is pretty bad-ass.
right up there with Danny Gatton / Rory Gallagher for that style.

Rediscovered John Mayall's "A Sense of Place" recently. If you don't know, he's the guy that got Clapton started on Blues.

and Peter Green (Fleetwood Mac), and Mick Taylor (Rolling Stones), and and and...
Mayall was basically a rite of passage for British guitarists.
