I know a few posters here are into fitness and supplementation. Anyone ever use the USP Labs products Jack3d and Oxyelite Pro? Just curious if they're any good, of course reviews online say they're great, but I trust opinions here much more. I guess they're both very similar and they say not to use both at once, so I am leaning towards the Oxyelite Pro to cut up, just checking if anyone has any input?

Both are very popular in the football/wrestling scene, that much I know. I do remember my head ATC talking about a negative side effect of Jack3d, but I think that was just involving something showing up on tox screening. So, no worries there. I am taking nutrient at the moment so I have a pretty good idea of what to use/expect, but when it comes down to it, when using any type of supplement you have to be sure to be using them effectively. If you want just a run of the mill one to stick with: creatine. Effective, no negative side-effects for the most part. Make sure you're drinking water though! I'm also taking a theory of conditioning/weight lifting class, so I can give ya some tips ;)

Sounds good, thx for the insight. I'm looking to cut down though. Once I get to my desired weight/body fat %, then I will focus on putting some lean muscle on... Just hope this shit isnt loaded with a million useless ingredients. But I hear good things from friends and online of course. Im more interested in Oxyelite for its thermogenic fat burning properties.

I workout slightly hungry and then eat a protein when I'm done, like a peanut butter sandwich or an egg, as well as a large pile of dark greens with no dressing. It works better than anything else I've ever tried.

DING DING DING

I love JACK3D. Now just note, I am not huge and not trying to become a body builder. I started using it a year ago and love it so much more than NO. The scoops are really small but that is all you need. They claim they do not have any fillers like all of the more popular stuff.

I gotten great results over the past year using it. I like using it before doing a p90x workout.

I usually finish with an EAS myoplex shake. I'm always looking on ebay for a good deal for wither myoplex shakes and/or bars. They are good to eat during the day in place of a small meal.

So is Jack3d like a pump/weight loss/muscle gain type thing, the products from this company are confusing..., people say that Jack3d and Oxyelite Pro are very similar, but that OEP is more geared towards thermogenic fat loss for cuttin up. I used to just use BSN products, that shit is just straight forward, but like you said its loaded with shit you dont need.

I started doing kettlebell training, I highly recommend it, just doing KB swings/snatches you burn almost 3 times as many calories a minute than running or most other cardio activities. I combine that with some "Spartacus" full body workout I got out of a men's health mag, then I take one day focusing on arms and one day on chest. I do the KB swings in the morning before I eat anything, Spartacus workout 3x a week, and then the two heavy weight days... Just started this routine, see how it goes.

jack3d is pump/muscle gain i wouldnt necessarily say its a weight loss product. but to be honest i didnt have weight to lose when i started taking it a year ago, i have been working on getting in shape and building lean muscle and there is not a better product out there. i have only tried 4 or 5 other pre-workout supplements recommended by fitness trainers and none of them compare.

jack3d is the best pre-supp out there right now. I also like Shock Therapy, but jack3d is almost as good if not better and with the price it can't be beat. lasts me a long time and it's only $30.00. one of the few products that doesn't jack up the price. All i stack with is some fish oil, multi vitamin, jack3d, protein, creatine.

About 2 years ago I blew my knee out, then over the course of the next 18 months had 3 different surgeries to repair the damage. During that time I gained like lbs due to inactivity, so when I was finally able to get back to working out I faced the same problem you are now.

I bought Oxyelite Pro off amazon to check it out since it seemed to one of the better products out there, and I have to say it does work but i also made some other changes to insure weight loss. If you're not going to work out properly/regularly and eat right it may not work. I was working out real heavy 3 times a week(weight trianing and cardio) and then doing just cardio 3 more days, taking sundays off to be lazy. I also went out and found myself a good whey protein and swapped my breakfast out for it, then did a lighter lunch(tuna, salads, fruit, yogurt, etc) and had a full dinner at night(chicken, fish, pork, turkey, steamed vegetables, etc). I'd work out after dinner usually so I'd also have another small shake before bed to give my body back some of the nutrients it needed to heal.

Ok long story short in about a month and a half I dropped all the bad weight I had put on while being inactive and went form 215 to 180. I feel great obviously and the worst side effect I felt from Oxyelite Pro was the mild caffeine jitters that come from the first few doses. I've recommended this product to a few friends who want to be "SHREDDED" and they've seen great results too.

Hope this helps and sorry for the excessively long read, I didn't realize I had typed that much.

lol, np, the more input the better. Thanks. I'm actually thinking about taking both Jack3d and OEP, just not on the same day. Thinking about taking Jack3d on days I lift heavy, and OEP on days I just do my full body/cardio workout... im at 185 right now, im looking to get down to like 175. Trying to figure out a good amount of calories to consume. I eat pretty healthy, but I cant do that meal replacvement shit. I never realy totalled my caloric intake throughout the day. I think where Im at now is pretty good as long as I take a supplement and workout steadily. I usually do 3 eggs in the morning with 1 slice of mozzarella and tomato. PB granola bar or greek yogurt as a snack. Lunch is usually a tuna or chicken sandwich. Another light snack, and then dinner which is like chicken and veggies or steak and veggies... I probably fluctuate between 1800-2200 calories a day. I need to tone down the alcohol.

If you want to burn fat and calories in a short amount of time you got to try burpees, or if your man enough do the burpee/pullup combo. I think you would rather run 6 miles than do 10 minutes of that. I love it and it fucking works. And if you want to get even more crazy, do it with a weighted vest.

I rarely lift heavy at all. I train in Muay Thai, so I don't want to get big, plus all the conditioning from training kind of defeats the purpose of going heavy.

I just go moderate lifting in the 8-10 rep range of compound movements (Bench, Squat, Deadlifts & Shoulder Press)

Conditioning is usually a 5 circuit round of 1 minute of each (Burpees, Strikes to heavy bag, Scissor Crunches, Round Kicks to heavy bag, Trunk twists with 10lb medicine ball) rest a minute and do 4 more rounds.

Supplements is just Protein & Force Factor. I'm a pretty amped guy as it is, so I don't use pre-workout stuff. I try to eat good and stay away from all fast foods, sodas, cookies & crap. Eating healthy and in moderation is key if you want to lose wait. And oh yeah, drink lots of water.

to each his own.. main thing you push yourself harder and beyond your threshold of pain each time.

I don't do pull-ups but doing burpees with roller skates on is the WORST. There is not an exercise I hate doing more than those.

People have to be careful with the protein supplements, just because for the MOST part Americans are getting every little bit of protein necessary (and then some for many) just in the daily diet. Not a bad idea to take a look at how much meat you're eating before looking into taking supplementary protein.
