Now with Jesse Lumsden in the fold, it would be great to see Lumsden, Reynolds and Cornish all in the backfield at the same time (i.e. until Lumsden gets tackled and pops out a shoulder :L )

I was hoping Cornish would sign with the Lions in the offseason but Hufnagel promised him an increased workload and he came through on the promise and he's showing why he's the leading rusher in U of Kansas history.

There are so many good young Cdn rb's who dont seem to get the chance because the coaches dont want them to get injured as that will screw up the ratio so these guys end up as special teamers or returners (where they end up getting injured anyways). Lions have Jamal Lee, Andrew Harris and Jerome Messum (horrible fumble on the weekend, but he's a horse). I have no clue why Robertson is still around

He may have it. I'm guessing they play more games now than back then.

Wasn't bustin' balls or anything, my friend, just noting that they do put out some good backs.

I've hated the Stamps ever since they beat Winnipeg in '92 for that Cup berth....sorry...I just can't root for that team...

Man, Vancouver sure stuck it to Calgary that year (Bure in Game 7 OT against the Flames) and this game.

/Flutie just couldn't win as soon as the temperature dropped below freezing...

Holy shit, i had the same convo at work earlier today. Me and my buddy were talking about the QB situation and i said Leftwich looks like Fat Albert, he laughed and said "i always thought he looked like Gary Coleman."

Still holding on to that weird obsessive fantasy that there is professional football in Canada.
