Fultz improved as the game progressed. The fans were cheering him on, and that helped his confidence!

Ainge went on record saying that he would have stayed at 1 and taken Tatum if Colangelo did not commit to Fultz and agreed to trade up for Fultz only. No way you guys were getting Tatum in that draft.

Imagine how I felt as a Raptor fan... we had Colangelo as GM for 7 friggin' years! And there was a lot of behind-the-scenes shenanigans with his father Jerry and David Stern at the time getting involved so golden boy Bryan could get the Raptors GM job. Bunch of BS.

Blame that one the President/ownership at the time... they had a guy with a real estate background (Richard Peddie) that was given autonomy to make basketball decisions and he hired Babcock. Rafael Araujo... yikes - we've come a long way from those days!

Something had to get done ... Fultz is a role player, Roco and Saric were way too inconsistent night in and night out. Butler is that hopefully that 3rd piece to the puzzle we have to have ... let's see how things shake out from here on out.

Embiid will be worn out by February if he has to carry these guys every night.

This move helps us on both ends ... we "desperately" needed another guy who can score consistently aside from Embiid. We also add a top defender to a D that has not been playing good D this year. I think this is the perfect situation for Butler and will really facilitate things for a guy like Simmons. RoCo was a frustrating player as he was wildly inconsistent with his shooting as was Saric. Saric was also a big reason for our struggles defensively ... hopefully Chandler is ready for more minutes soon.
