I personally stayed away from just about everything apple. Nothing personal just was never a fan of the brand. Can't deny that Jobs was an innovator. 56 seems pretty young.

Up until now I was convinced there was a cure for cancer, not many super rich or powerful people have died from cancer. He is the exact type of person that could have been saved if there was a cure, brilliant, influential, more money than god. I'm not an Apple guy either but it's never a good thing when a genius is removed from the world.

Pancreatic cancer gives you about a 1% chance of survival. Tough news to hear and even tougher battle to go through.

My life is actually less stressful, music is more plentiful, and memories more cherished b/c of Steve Jobs. Thanks, dude, for a bevy of great products that work, are enjoyable to use, and hold their value.

Jobs was meticulous in building an efficient and useful product and was dialed in to what people REALLY wanted. He withstood a marketshare monolith for decades. Jobs himself, like Apple, lasted much longer than the odds said he/they would.

ALL computer/music player/cellular products - whether you like/use Apple or not - are better for it. Kudos, Mr. Jobs.

Nah, I use the sell phones. iPhones really arent that great...but its all about public perception so people think they're the best.

I don't know if they're the best, but I like mine, and it has dick to do with public perception. If you don't think they're the best, that's fine, but not really the time or place.
