in comparison ... whitecaps currently have 29 players on their roster ... average MLS team is carrying about 26 or 27 right now

young Brad Knighton won the whitecaps goalkeeper job at the end of last year and took them into the playoffs. Veteran and former league all star Joe Cannon has had a great training camp and preseason and might just be looking to take his old job back
