A cdn championship victory would have meant a 1 year extension added to Martin Rennies contract

loss means he will most likely be on his way out

and this from my bro ...

Nesta becomes the first player to do this amazing world soccer triple crown ... win a World Cup, UEFA Champions League and Canadian Championship lmao

fair to say that was a pretty huge road win for the Caps against the top team in the east.
with no Reo-Coker or Mattocks.

one spot out of the playoffs now (4pts back with 2 games in hand)
there's hope again, anyways.

I will say that Alex Morgan is a heck of a player, such great pace and some clinical finishing yesterday.

So, Sydney tweets out earlier today that racial slurs were hurled her way. Why didn't she mention it to the press post-game?

Leroux, who was yellow-carded for her celebration, did not mention racial abuse when she talked to reporters after the game

So I guess we have an answer why she didn't mention it post-game - because there wasn't any racial slurs durung the game.

A spokesman for U.S. Soccer said later in the day that the tweet was not meant to suggest that Leroux was subjected to racial slurs Sunday at the soldout game in Toronto’s BMO Field.

Sydney Leroux turns to Twitter to defend goal celebration - The Globe and Mail
