Yeah this is pretty huge for the sport. If it can really catch on in NYC it'll be the start of my theory that soccer will surpass baseball in the next 20-30 years. On a related note I will be attending this on Saturday:

I guess these could realistically apply to all MLS teams but you have to figure an expansion team in NYC is going to go with a big name to sell tickets/jerseys. I was trying to think of who on Manchester City would be likely to make a move over at that point. I guess Tevez makes sense as 31 year old strikers in the Premier League generally aren't a hot commodity.
