Yeah, that shot by Charl was nice. Zach Johnson holes one out from 100+ yards to end their match.

Internationals killing it to start the foursomes, but it's AS now and looking to stay that way.

If it does, international team would need to win 8 of 12 tomorrow to pull it out. Tough task.

So the broadcast for this is way behind reality. I hate when they do that - especially now that the Golf Channel and NBC are owned by the same group, no reason to not show the full day and switch over to the main network at some point.

US takes home the President's Cup yet again. DeLaet had a good weekend though (chipped in on 18 to win his singles match today).

Yeah, I think he did it twice on the weekend. He played very well and the Internationals made a great run at the end.

Tiger was the decisive point for the 3rd straight President's Cup and Fred Couples became the first Captain to win 3 times. U..S..and...A, U..S..and..A! ;)

Was that seriously the best team the rest of the world could put together? Half those guys were scrubs
Oh well....this will make the US feel good until they get owned in the Ryder Cup again

There were a fair number of top tier guys not on the Int'l team - McIlroy, McDowell, Rose. But the rest of the guys were pretty much in the second tier just like the U.S. guys. Honestly, the difference is often overstated anyway in a sport like golf where day-to-day it can vary so much.

But those guys aren't eligible for the "International" team (as they are all British/European).

Ohhh, I didn't even realize that. That's silly.

I think they wanted to distance themselves from the Ryder Cup which draws the best golfers from Europe against the best from the States. It's hard to manufacture the history and drama that exists in the Ryder Cup though (as well as the hate).

Yeah, I kinda like the vibe of the Prez Cup though, too. Did anyone see the end?

Mickelson and Cabrera both lag up by the cup on their birdie putts - Cabrera is a little over a foot and Mickelson about 4. The match is done - the US has won. Mickelson acted like he wanted them both to putt out (he was down 1). So he puts in his 4 footer, picks up his ball, and picks up Cabrera's marker and smiles/laughs as he hands it to him. It was a great moment.

I wish the PGA had more doubles/team events. It'd be cool if they had a NHL all-star style game each year. Have 4 team Captains that choose 10- or 12-man teams and play a bunch of events all weekend. It'd be fun and team play is just more interesting/fun than stroke play most of the time.

Hey Stewart Cink, it's ok, you can leave the cap on.

DeLaet currently tied for 5th. Three back of Bubba with 4 to play. Looks like another top 10 for Graham.

This guy is going to break through soon. I think he'll have a big year.
