Pretty interesting photos coming back already
The sound - or lack thereof - really makes that. I've been to some pretty remote places, but there's always the sound of birds or trees, or some other type of natural sound.

on the side of some mountain in the middle of the Yukon was the most desolate for me. 2 hour plane ride north of WatDeath Valley is the closest I’ve ever experienced as some where with no sound. Also because of the elevation (or lack of), it just felt different.

Landing dead bodies doesn’t count. The objective is land live astronauts and then get them back. The Chinese don’t careChina will be landing a man on Mars before us unless things change.
