I laughed pretty hard at this, but only b/c I couldn't figure out what part of it was offensive that Dash would need to jump behind that couch.

Not a lot of love for Dallas (and Texas for that matter) on this board, elo. Are you new here?

San Antonio was pretty sweet. *shrugs*

I have really only been Houston driving in from the north once and usually driving in from the east. Houston was wonderful compared to some small town we visited my wife's sister in once.

Also my view is tainted due to every time I go there its to spend time with inlaws.

Also another plus, the food is fantastic.

Do you mean cowboy attitude? Or is Romo just really a dick when visit?

In Texas its Cowboy with a capital C. I havent visited Romo lately, why? Have you heard something?

Baltimore vs. Texas.

That's a close one, but I'd have to go Baltimore too I think.

Even *I* vote Baltimore over Texas.

But the tiebreaker is CR Wings.

When the Ravens and Cowboys play each other, I root for Natural Disaster.

Fuck Houston.

Baltimore is not terrible. There is plenty to do and a lot of history to check out. There are scary parts for sure, but that's anywhere. The big problem with the Baltimore / DC Metroplex (besides expense) is just finding space. So many people. And most are Ravens fans, so naturally I hate that.

Consider yourself lucky. I have 2 of them within earshot in my office. Every fucking day.

How every Friday that is also a payday for pretty much all of the government employers, gas mysteriously rises 40 cents per gallon.

Yesterday, on way home 3.52 - 3.65. This morning 3.99. Everywhere.

Is this a good time to tell 43 that we're paying almost $6 per US gallon in Vancouver?

there is a place I go just across the border where it works out to .98 cents a litre if you pay debit/cash instead of credit card.

Yorky's Marketmore
8839 Blaine Road
Blaine, WA 98230, United States

cheapest gas I can find when I cross and its very close to the highway to get back on

Matty, isn't it closer for you to go to Point Roberts? How do the prices compare?

I get that.

My objection is to paying 10% more for a product that has been sitting in a tank for a week just because it's payday, no matter the actual cost.

Like I am supposed to believe that the prices of the raw materials, processing, manufacturing and shipping suddenly went up that much in A DAY.

It's a distinct pattern here. Goes down by 2-3 cents a day over the span of a week and a half. You get one station that's a cent or two cheaper, then the one across the street drops. Rinse, repeat. Then overnight, miraculously, every station with their varying brands ALL wind up the EXACT same price.

Good thing price fixing is illegal. So I don't have to assume it's that. But there must be some explanation.

no Im in North Delta, so the blaine crossing is far closer and we have nexus so there is rarely a wait in line. point roberts has ok prices (not as cheap as the place I go to)

with my truck I am saving $35 a tank

we just got nexus ... its a beautiful thing ... only thing missing is getting served mimosas by the us border officials as you drive up and laugh at the people who will be sitting in their cars for another 2 hours lol

I guess they just changed their retinal scanning software, so I have to go into the Richmond office for a re-scanning, but Nexus is a wonderful thing.
