Was at stick and puck tonight because my son is in goal this weekend for the first time in 2 months and wanted him to get some reps in the gear to re-acclimate.

I was sitting on the bench, took my helmet off and dropped my water bottle. Leaned to get it and cracked my head on the stanchion inside of the boards.

Fuck, I hope this isn't concussion #5. Light hurts.

I'd list some s/sx, but if you're already 4 deep you probably know what they are. Give yourself some mental breaks, get some sleep.


PSA: when they tell you to wake someone up every hour that's concussed, please don't. Unless you have great suspicion of a brain bleed (watch for increase in severity of symptoms and behavioral changes), let them sleep. It's much more helpful for a brain to get rest.
