All in action right now. I got an ace wrap and a horseshoe pad from student health, a ziplock of ice and a pillow from home, and typing is very awkward at this weirdly angled position.

My go to in early stages of ankle sprain rehab, even soon after the injure: ice immersion (like a ice/water slush bucket) while doing ABCs with the ankle and ankle pumps. Good way to both ice/numb it up and get ROM exercises in.

I'm no fan of Stephen Harper, but I think he's currently the best choice of a rather mediocre lot of political leaders. Justin Trudeau doesn't really do it for me and Tom Mulcair scares me. The Green Party doesn't really count (lol)

Speaking of Canadian politics, last month I was in Ottawa at Rideau Hall and in the entry way in the lower level they had the Canada Cup Trophy. I just assumed it was a replica when I first saw it, but I'm pretty sure it's legit. Something worth checking out if you're ever in town.

I would take literally anyone over Stephen Harper. He has mocked how our government has run, ignored the advice of experts for his own dogmatic approaches and now it is becoming apparent that he, or at least his party, is guilty of perverting the course of democracy.

IMO, he has to go. I don't care if his opponents are mediocre (and sadly they are), we just need someone who isn't Harper.

goddamn his speech/mannerisms scared me last night ... I know he wanted to speak in soft, re-assuring tones but his cadence made me think he'd been lobotomized
