People, more specifically companies, that have fake outrage and pat themselves on the back regarding social issues but not really solving the problem or doing anything about it. Most recently with the NFL, all of these sponsors are coming out and bashing them, saying the league needs to do more etc. If you're truly outraged and disagree with the league pull your advertising dollars. Until you do that you are completely full of shit.

Speaking of my bicycle, I cannot stand it when people "park" in the bike lane. Especially on a major road.

Seriously, that's stupid and dangerous irrespective of the bike lane for the vehicles going by. For a cyclist, who is using that bike lane to not be in one of the car lanes on a road with a 40 mph speed limit, it's even worse.

Poison ivy. I know that I have it around my house, so I always wear gloves and long sleeves while doing yard work, even in the summer.

Well, apparently the sleeve on my shirt slid up enough for the poison ivy to get my wrist. It itches so freaking bad. And I try not to scratch it, but it is directly underneath my shirt cuff, which rubs it all day. And I'm out of town with no car to get around and no pharmacy or supermarket where I could get something for it within walking distance.

:gaah:

If you have access to any honey (coffee shop?) some people swear that helps relieve poison ivy. It didn't work for me last time I had it though.

If you have access to Uma Thurman, you'll forget all about your poison ivy...

I hope that's just site maintenance. Do you have some indication that they're totally shut down?

I saw some tweets earlier today indicating that it is no more - I was hoping that it was just some people goofing off on Twitter, but I fear it truly is gone.

I don't get it. How in the hell did a bear get into their server room? I mean, I guess I could see a rat or something like that, but a bear? Smells fishy
