Stance: Goofy
Pretty good album released on this day in 1982. The Clash Combat Rock
I keep an eye on Guitar Center and Sweetwater looking for a Lucille copy guitar. The only reason I haven't bought one yet is we've had some issues that have caused me to dip into my "irresponsible spending" account a few times (Stupid fridge)It's been 10 years since we lost BB King - This a great collaboration with U2.
I saw Sugar 25 or so years ago and liked them, so maybe I'd like these guys.nice. I'm going to see Jack White tomorrow night, and just found out that the opener is Big Sugar.
Have wanted to see them since the 90s
(might be another good canadian discovery for you 'murricans)

I’ve seen the clash, Devo, Blondie, boomtown rats, George Thorogood, and the destroyers, toots, and the Maytals, Ramones, and probably one or two more that I can’t put my finger on at the moment. But the venue never disappoints.Well we only saw Big Sugar walk off the stage as we arrived.
But I still got my fucking moneys worth. Jack was fucking awesome. No better place on earth to have a concert on the Commodore.
My daughter and I were standing right up front at the left of the stage. Maybe 3’ back from the stage but right there.
Did I mention it was fucking awesome? Because it sure as fuck was.

Nothing better than arena rock in a small venue.
For this one we stayed back closer to the soundboard, as the sound guys always calibrate it for themselves.
