Michael Hutchence would have been 65 today.

Eddie Van Halen born on this day in 1955...They kept it under wraps for quite some time that he played the guitar solo on 'Beat It'. Anyway, this is pretty good stuff as well.

Sarah McLachlan (57 candles) - What a beautiful voice.

i absolutely love her music. my wife can not stand it lol.

she is coming to Vancouver but the scalpers got in quick and now its min $200 a ticket I was lucky to see her do a surprise performance with blue rodeo so I am good not to pay those prices.

Saw her at the PNE a million years ago.
Whatever year the Crash Test Dummies were a thing, because I saw them the same week.

Also saw her pretty damned tipsy and going pretty hard after the 54-40 dude at some party. (pre-fame)

I've never heard that. Good song, I just read the backstory that he was told not to use her name as the title
he's kind of a Vancouver punk legend. (The Young Canadians)
had a bit of a resurgence in the late 80s as a solo artist
this was prob his biggest hit.

I saw him play a few years ago, and when he came on stage he looked like such an old man. Could barely stand up straight.
As the show bore on and the music took over, he was completely revitalized. one of the more amazing transformations I had seen.
